HEART_BEAT

 

There's a low, dull thud to the land. Like a heartbeat, but slowed so far down that it may beat once in a thousand years. Generations of us live and die without hearing that low thud of an earthly heartbeat. Though those of us who do, that stays with us for all of our short lives, stays with us even beyond that.
