FATHER'S BIRTHDAY:

 

Today is my father's birthday, he would have been 88. He died back in 2017. It still hurts, even though I talk to him, and I know that he is always there when I need him - and he does help. But I have always found platitudes risible - time doesn't heal, it doesn't get easier. You just carry on the best way you can.
