NEW ART: the ocean.

 

I love the ocean. I love the defining line it gives the landscape, even if you can't see it you know that it is there - a solid line between land and sea. Being inland - away from the ocean, to me at least, gives me a feeling of being lost, dislocated, the defining edge has gone, how can you stop yourself drifting if you are not tethered to that line between land and sea? I suppose, being born and raised in Cornwall, with not one, but two defining lines with the ocean - north coast and south coast a mere handful of miles apart, it's part of who you are, your connection with that line between land and ocean.
